Julia Dyck

Julia E Dyck is an interdisciplinary artist (sound art, radio art, radio drama, performance, experimental music) based in Montreal whose performances are compelled by experimentation and an exploration of identity as mediated through technology. She has a particular interest in the role of the disembodied female voice. Julia employs instruments/ electronics/ media samples/ data/ field recordings/ and vocals in creating narratives and experiences that question reality and speculate alternative futures.
