Ali El-Darsa
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Ali El-Darsa is a Montreal-based artist who works in video, performance and installation. Using language and the body, El-Darsa’s work examines a personal history, issues of identity, socio-political environments and psycho-spatial dimensions from which drawn contexts are expressed through the absent or the intimate. El-Darsa’s work has been presented at galleries and festivals across North America, Europe, and Asia.
