Events

A Studio XX events bring together artists, scholars, curators, writers and the public. Events take the form of conferences, artist-talks, performances, exhibitions and installations. These gatherings support the promotion and dissemination of contemporary artworks to the general public.

In this exhibition/intervention, Cornelia Sollfrank (artist, cyberfeminist pioneer and hacker) will meet montreal-based artists from different ages and backgrounds to address issues of Commons/Feminism/Digital Media, a highly underdeveloped field which crisscrossed with questions of gender and technology.

These three artists developed their individual projects as part of Studio XX's residency program and we invite you join them in a conversation about the conceptual aspects of their project, some of the technical difficulties/challenges, the role of collaboration, the outcome of the residency and the future of their projects.
