Studio XX is pleased to welcome, from January 18th to February 27th, 2016, as part of the 2015-16 residency program, artists Shayla Chilliak & Kristin Li.
Smart Room is an immersive, interactive environment that responds to the visitor’s presence and comes alive in unexpected ways. In the age of Smart things and sensor technology, historical fantasies about magical objects come true as mundane realities of convenience. Smart Room is a space to explore new relationships with living objects. The installation will be open to single visitors, followed by an artists’ talk.
